Send Your Ideas to Nesta

We don’t very often carry project information from publicly funded bodies. In fact I think this is the first. However I have a feeling that this Nesta project could promote some really interesting results. So read on and let’s see what happens.

Nesta is looking for ideas from organisations that wish to promote innovation, enterprising attitudes and behaviours around risk. The projects need to be relevant to young people, the professionals that work with them, the environments supporting or any combination of these.

Nesta is hoping to create 2 -3 pilot projects with a value of £10,000 - £60,000.

Applications should be from

  • National and regional voluntary organisations;
  • Groups delivering enterprise education activities;
  • Youth agencies
  • Organisations involved in delivering innovative education programmes
  • Business and Education Partnerships;
  • Creative Partnerships;
  • Clusters of schools that wish to collaborate on a new project;
  • Partnerships between schools or colleges, and business.

The closing date for applications is 11th May 2007
It looks as if Nesta are looking for engaging ideas that will promote innovation in young people. If you’re part of an organisation that does this kind of work then contacting Nesta makes sense. To get more information please click here.
