Welsh Country Cover Welsh Country Arts Page

Welsh Country
is a bi-monthly glossy A4 magazine that is distributed throughout Wales and, through its growing list of subscribers, is finding regular readers across the UK and even overseas. The magazine is produced, published and printed entirely within Wales by an enthusiastic, independent team that has no ties with any large publishing group. We have a broad range of articles and features that celebrate the uniqueness of Wales and provide huge appeal and a great read for anyone with an interest in Wales – be they Welsh or non-Welsh, resident or visitor.

Welsh Country is currently running a regular feature showcasing work produced by local artists. With the goal of promoting an interest in and awareness of art in Wales, the page offers artists the opportunity to display their work to over 100,000 readers. What’s more, for the next few months this page is open to artists completely free of charge!

The contents of the magazine reflects the enormous diversity of Wales, and that certainly includes the Arts & Crafts feature. Other regular features cover walking in Wales, wildlife, equestrian activities, home & garden, alternative therapies, book and music reviews, beauty, cookery and property – an eclectic mix for all to read and enjoy.

Whenever time permits, the Welsh Country team can be seen with their trade stand at various events around the country; they have recently been at Mumbles Produce Market, with the Greener Homes & Buildings Show held at the Royal Welsh Smallholder Show, and at the North Wales Spring Garden & Country Festival in St Asaph. For the latest copy of Welsh Country check out your local newsagent or in case of difficulty please ring

So, who is eligible for this offer? If you can answer “yes” to these two questions, your work could be showcased in an upcoming issue of Welsh Country:
1. Are you an artist living and practicing in Wales?
2. Do you currently have a selection of work available for sale?

What will you have to do?
1. Give us a call or drop us an e-mail to let us know that you are interested in appearing on our Arts page.
2. Send us some high-quality images of your work. These can be photographs or high-quality scans (300dpi please!).
3. Let us know, in writing (e-mail or post would be fine), details of your work. We are interested in your background as an artist, the mediums you practice in, any exhibitions you will be holding in the near future, and any further details that you feel would be relevant.
