Help for Writers
s7awek has passed on some great links that should be of help and inspiration to anyone writing online. These are
An ever expanding list of blog fiction at
http://fictionblogs2.blogspot.com/
An article about how blog fiction has evolved at
http://tracearchive.ntu.ac.uk/process/index.cfm?article=91
And finally a very interesting and prominent piece of blog fiction

Thanks to s7awek

I tried to contact the maintainer of fictionblogs2. Unfortunately he seems no longer active. I checked the archives and the last entries point to January 2005.
I thought about writing to the fiction blog writers themselves and point them to your approach of blog fiction categorization. But this seems much work for now.
But maybe I can simply figure out a place online like a forum, which is commonly used by these people.

Hi S7awek
Thanks for all that effort. I’ve also tried to contact the maintainer of Fictionblogs2, but like you I found he is no longer active.
If you could place a mention on a forum I would be very grateful - that seems like a good way of attracting a number of writers.
Although I’m tempted to write to a number of blog writers I don’t want to do it in a way that seems like Spam. Perhaps if a number of forums or collective blogs are found we can spread the load of contactng them?

I just figured out something very interesting. If you take a look at this site:
http://www.theblacksun.org/category/reviews/
This is a specialized literary circle writing reviews. I suppose there is much more such sites which focus on particular aspects of written art. And I’m certain that online authors will visit such sites that concentrate on their genre quite often.
Now, your aim is to enlist and categorize fiction found on the web by animating the authors themselves to unveil their work on your site.
This it a great basis for such review sites. This means such people might be very well interested in helping you by pointing potential authors to your effort from their site.
The only reason why there is no reviews of fiction found on the web is that there no reliable listing of them so far.
I think this would be a great approach for a collaboration.

HI s7awek
I’ve followed your suggestion and taken a look at The Black Sun. I think you are right. This is potentially a good opportunity for collaboration. I think you have figured out something quite important here.
I have just contacted The Black Sun to follow up on your idea. I’m hoping they agree.
I’ll start looking out for other similar sites. This is making a lot of sense to me.
