Fleeting Moments is an occaisonally upated old fashioned ship orientated Space Opera. In some distant time two Captains - one a rising star, the other a recently retired admiral both relegated by accident to a long lost out of the way colony find themselves fighting off an invasion force.

The story is very roughly inspired by Alistair Maclean’s ‘HMS Ulysses’

Robert Lyn Davies

Category: C.V. / Resume / Profilerob @ 2:59 pm

The Creator of Shared Creation

I’m an experienced applications consultant, specialising in application design and support. I’ve never been far from creative projects and endeavours.

These include

  • RobArt - Photography and Digital art. The RobArt site is a continuation of an earlier ‘photogallery’ project. As a photographer and digital artist I’m trying to always break new grounds (at least personally), in subject, lighting and composition. To date my work has been exhibited at the Focal arts festival, in the Hype project and a few local galleries.
  • The Living Dead - a project based in Shared Creation to build a high quality, low budget and very British horror film.
  • I’ve always been a keen writer. My published credits include reviewing and article writing in the magazines Anime UK, Anime FX and J-Fan. I’ve also had short fiction published most notably in the magazine Adventurer, and RPG scenarios published in the magazine White Dwarf. Perhaps most famously I produced one of the earliest UK based Anime fanzines in the form of ‘The Legend of the O.V.A. Fiend’ which was co-created with (and named by), long time conspirator Adrian Sexton.
  • I’m also a long time supporter of the Horror group ‘Fear of the Dark

Looking at that lot it has to be said that I like to work in words and images, but I’m also never afraid to get in front of a crowd or a camera to do some presenting or acting.

Currently I’m actioned at working on production organisation and continuity work on the Living Dead. Update - The Living Dead is now known as Consumed.
