Helium - Where Knowledge Rules

One for writers this. I’ve signed up yet so these are only my first impressions. Helium looks like a profit sharing website for writers. In other words this is a place to try and get paid for the written word. The appearance is that you can submit anything, or match up your writing to the sites current needs. The needs seem to be driven by what is marketable and also but is needed by publishers. The publishers model is interesting as Helium is looking to match publisher requirements to writers. This is cool as it may help both new or established writers to work together. The profit share concept is used in the web for other media (such as video) so lets hope it also works for writers. The sites attitude is clear and professional - so that is a good start
