If you are in the UK or the US, and are making short films then this could be just what you are looking. The aim of the competition is quite simply to find the next great film maker. To uplift the winner to a place where there career in film can be advanced.

Its a competition, its an opportunity and fairly unusually it is transatlantic in nature.

The aim of advancing a career is of course a pretty big one, and to be honest it looks as if winning is part of the prize. What I mean is the winner has a prize to tote on their portfolio and in addition a weeks internship with award winning producer David Parfitt (of Shakespeare in Lovefame) and his team on an upcoming shoot in the UK.

One week does not seem like a lot - but I have a feeling that a week in the hands of good producer will be a more than useful prize

And as mentioned there is the kudos of the whole thing.
