Announcing Velocity
Velocity is a digital art and culture festival running over the 3 weeks of 11th October through to 3rd of November this year. Access to the festival is free. Unusually the festival will stretch around Morecombe Bay and make use of the train network as its exhibition space. There will be on train performances, exhibitions in the stations and podcasts to listen to as you take a train journey.
This does sound to me like an extraordinary and innovative way to bring digital art to a wider audience.
