Ok here is how to get a serial number to activate a copy of Divx Pro for free. In case your not sure Divx Pro gives you full access to the Divx video codecs and convereters. It’s a worthwhile something for nothing.
Well not exactly nothing. First you have to do something.
First you post a button from the list provided at Share DivX onto your website. Then you provide the URL the button lives on and your email address to Divx. Voila - you get a free Divx Pro license for PC or Mac.
Ok so you are giving DivX links and helping to advertise them, but Divx Pro is very useful - so to me this is a good deal.
It’s also telling me that the competition over the technology and distribution of peoples videos is hotting up.
