It’s time for photos on the web. No do not run away, this isn’t another sharing site. This is a useful tool.

Picknik is an online photo editing tool that allows you to work on photographs held on Flickr on the PC you are working from. It takes the most used photo editing tools and distils them into an easy to use website. Effectively giving you photo editing from anywhere. It also fits in with the growing library of available web tools that more and more surely working hard to replace the presence of applications on computers.

I’ve taken a look at Picnik. It does interface very nicely with Flickr, it is well organised and easy to use. I wouldn’t throw away my software yet - but I would definitely sign in and use it if blogging or updating Flickr from a remote computer.
