Want to be Locked Up?

Category: Competitions, Film, Internet, NewsRob @ 1:25 pm

The Real Institute is looking to lock up four teams in mansion somewhere near Llangollen in North Wales, and they’re not letting them out until each has made a film!

Just to make life more interesting the lock up will include many odd and restrictive devices. This includes playing board games to win the film making equipment the teams will need.

Each team must include four players with any level of film making experience (from none upwards). It is an open competition so anyone from anywhere can enter!

Whilst locked up all lodgings and food is provided for as is access to specialists such as scriptwriters, editors and cinematographers. Making this a potentially great learning experience for a new film maker.

At the end the finished films will be broadcast on the Internet and screened at the Royal Llangollen Pavilion on January 13th 2007.

If you don’t want to be locked up the public is being invited to submit their own films on the theme of RESTRICTION. These will be screened alongside those made at the top secret Llangollen location.

If you want to get involved the deadline for entering a team is 30th October 2006 and 17th December 2006 for a short film.
