Adobe Light Room has now reached it’s fourth beta, the application and it’s community can be found here.

Beta 4 is a major milestone in the LightRoom project and for the first time sees parity in functionality between the Windows and Mac versions of the application. This is a major step to preparing for a production release. This version also sees updates to both the User Interface and Adjustment tools.

I’ve been following (and using), LightRoom for some time. The previous versions were useful software and I’m looking forward to seeing what the new beta release can do.
