VideoClub is a new Brighton based endeavour that takes submissions of new film and moving picture works and then creates regular showcases based upon these submissions. The aim of video club is to support and showcase new artists to the public.

The Moving Picture Company; Europes largest film and TV post production house is making a presentation in Swansea on May 3rd about how it staffs for it’s prestigious jobs. Making the presentation will be Mathew Sager the company’s head of recruitment and resourcing. He will talking about recent work in the fields of TV, commercials, and music videos. He will also be joined by an animation colleague who will talk about their role in the company.
If you’d like to learn how the company that works on projects such as X-Men 3, The Da Vinci Code, and Harry Potter chooses it’s people you should go along.

Almost on us is the Writing on the Wall conference.
The 5 year Writing on the Wall project draws to a conclusion and is celebrated by a conference in Newcastle University on the 28th and 29th of April 2006.
This is a fascinating project. Collecting writing from around the world to reflect on the world heritage site of Hadrians Wall.
