It’s been many a week since the last development blog. What has been happening?
In short more consolidation, more testing and more software. The objective was to bring Shared Creation up to a point where it was really useful to members. Things such as modifying the standard Wordpress interface, adding private messaging and chat, comment avatars and links to other social networking sites where all essential. As were confirming the differences between news and projects areas.
On top of that content was needed. A start had to be made on help pages and instructions to potential members. A full set of terms and conditions was an essential add on, as were a full set of contact details for Shared Creation.
I’ve also been establishing practical links to news providers - so that we can build an eclectic and interesting news service. I am also hugely looking forward to the journalistic project where we try and recruit a writing staff.
The good news is that we are shortly going to be letting the world know all about Shared Creation. We’ve not been marketing it yet. Though I know a few people have found it already.
So that’s it - nearly ready to tell the world. Consolidation is going well. Testing is going well.
The collaboration engine is revving up.
