The Swiss Army Knife Approach
The continuation of development and an analogy
The development of Shared Creation is proceeding and so is the testing. This is an interesting time for me. I’m looking at what we have, what comes next and how to it’s being used. At this moment I’m part producer, part web designer, part marketeer and part tester. What a nice role; it’s exciting.
It’s lead me to an analogy as to what Shared Creation is. It’s a Swiss Army Knife. A collection of tools some of which you will use a lot, and some occasionally. How much you use each one depends upon who you are and what you want to. I believe it’s a fair analogy, and not a bad one. The Swiss Army knife has after all been enormously successful, and is practical solution to a lot of different problems. That’s a good direction for Shared Creation. It’s also a good paradigm for future development - keep thinking of the knife. How to cut out those things we don’t need and how to forge Shared Creation a strong and useful tool.
Any thoughts?
