Thoughts about Video Volume
There is something I have noticed recently. It’s actually been going on for years but some reason it has only just lodged in my brain. To my ears a great many British TV shows are shrill, loud and very harsh on the lugholes. Oddly many of their American counterparts are not. Now I fully admit this could be down to my own hearing and preferences, but I do wonder if it is a cultural issue....
