Is this real or not?
Either way its a stunning image
And I want to know what is the story - are the fighters heading somewhere or running away from something?

Liking the simplicity of this heavy dark water. Also wondering what is about to rise out of the depths

Author Shout Out for Bradley Salters
Bradley Salters works at Michigan State University and has a recently published book under Amazon Digital Press. He’s busy using social media to promote the book, and is also producing a good many decent links to other resources and ‘zines on his facebook page.
That makes sense to me. Its hard when you are a new author trying to get the word out, but people can get bored of selling. Being part of the wider community helps everyone and that is so important.
His book is called Lillians List and here’s a link to it on Amazon:

Its music video time again.
I had to include this one it is so full of rare combinations. Melody, dance, rap, and a video shot with a rare attention to light. The video may tell a story but its the use of light that is conveying so much of the emotion.
A Great combination
Fantastic Use of Colour here that really brings out the just how bad the weather is. In fact the weather + the gloss red of the train makes me think this should be a science fiction scene

Twitter Fiction Event
Visit Twitter and do a search for the hashtag #tfe. You will enter the amazing world of the Twitter Fiction Event.
These are participatory games where each player contributes to an ongoing and evolving story line told in snippets of 140 characters.
The events unfold as they are tweeted - so much pretty much in realtime.
The story elements are held together with the hashtag #tfe - so to follow a story all you need do is search on #tfe and look at the stream of posts.
You might think that 140 characters is not a lot to tell a story in. That is true - but it is enought to describe a scene, set a mood, establish character or send some dialogue. Enough of these elements and you have working fiction.
You”ll find that the authors involved have gotten good at this form of writing.
Design with Typography Tutorials
I recently came about this collection of tutorials via Twitter and decided that they had to be included here.
Typography based designed in increasingly becoming considered cool and can be used to great effect. It suddenly made sense to me to include cool tutorials. Learning how to can be as important as looking at the end results
